Deputy Leader Of Dap-Kenya, Ayub Savula, Has Announced His Resignation From The Party And His Decision To Join The Broad-Based Government Coalition.

Savula, Who Also Serves As The Deputy Governor Of Kakamega County, Explained That He Can No Longer Remain In The Opposition While Simultaneously Operating Within The County Government Led By Governor Fernandes Barasa Of Odm, A Party That Is Part Of The Broad-Based Government Arrangement.

However, The Deputy Governor Has Declined To Publicly Disclose Which Political Party He Intends To Join Following His Exit From Dap-Kenya, The Party Currently Led By Eugene Wamalwa.

Savula Made The Announcement During A United Democratic Alliance (Uda) Meeting Held In Kakamega, Which Focused On Strategies To Strengthen The 2027 Election Campaign To Re-Elect President William Ruto. The Western Region Mobilization Effort Will Be Led By Bungoma Governor Ken Lusaka As The Regional Coordinator, With Savula Now Serving As His Deputy.
