Harmonize Praises Kenyan Artist Bien-Aimé as Talented and Supportive

Tanzanian musician Harmonize has spoken highly of Kenyan singer Bien-Aimé Baraza, describing him as a talented, cool, supportive, and true overachiever.
The comments came during Harmonize’s recent visit to Nairobi for the Old School Bongo event, where he addressed journalists and reflected on Bien’s successful solo career after leaving the popular group Sauti Sol in late 2023.
Harmonize noted the courage it takes for an artist to step out of a successful group and build a strong individual path. He said, “To come out of a group and stand out alone is not easy work. It takes a man who has fought to prove he can do it.” He added that shining within a group is one thing, but keeping that light bright while standing alone shows real strength. Harmonize also called Bien a brother who is well-loved in Tanzania and praised the close, family-like bond they share, including simple moments like sharing meals during visits.
The Tanzanian star revealed that a collaboration with Bien is in the works and will feature on his upcoming album expected in June 2026. This announcement has excited fans across East Africa, as it points to growing musical ties between Kenyan and Tanzanian artists. Bien-Aimé has enjoyed solid success since going solo, including winning Best Artist in Eastern Africa at the 2025 Trace Awards and releasing his debut solo album Alusa, Why Are You Topless? in 2024. Harmonize’s words highlight the respect and friendship between the two musicians as they continue to grow in the regional music scene.
