Kanyari: Some People Are Hard to Change, Even with God's Call

During a recent church service, he referred to Marion Naipei, saying she drinks alcohol the whole night and then comes to church late. He made the comment after Naipei attended his service with her son for the first time but arrived late.
"Naipei anakunywa usiku mzima halafu anakuja Kanisa akiwa amechelewa. Hata kama Mungu aliniita nibadilishe watu, kuna watu kubadilika ni ngumu," Kanyari said. He explained that even though God has called him to transform lives, some people find it very difficult to change their ways. The pastor noted that certain decisions, like quitting alcohol, can only be made by the person themselves.
