Lupesia Calls for Strong Action Against South Africa Over Xenophobic Attacks

Abdullahi Lupesia has strongly urged African leaders to take firm measures against South Africa because of the ongoing violence targeting African immigrants.

He suggested that countries across the continent should consider expelling South African ambassadors from their territories. According to him, this step would send a clear message that such harmful actions cannot continue without consequences.

Lupesia expressed deep concern over the repeated xenophobic attacks on fellow Africans living and working in South Africa. He noted that these incidents involve violence and create an atmosphere of fear and hatred. While many nations are working hard to build stronger unity and cooperation across Africa, he said South Africa’s situation goes against these shared goals of solidarity and peace among brothers and sisters on the continent.

He warned that the growing anti-immigrant feelings could lead to wider diplomatic problems and even result in South Africa facing isolation from other African nations. Lupesia called on the South African government to act quickly to stop the violence and protect the lives and businesses of immigrants from other parts of Africa. Without meaningful change, he believes stronger responses may become necessary.

In his view, one effective way to teach South Africa a lesson would be for African countries to cut diplomatic ties and close borders in protest against what he described as cruelty towards fellow Africans. Lupesia emphasized the need for collective action to promote respect and safety for all Africans, no matter where they live. His remarks come at a time when many voices across the continent continue to speak out against such divisions.
