A deeply emotional moment for NARC Kenya Party Leader Martha Karua, following the death of her father, Mwalimu Jackson Karua.

Karua has shared the heartbreaking news, revealing that she had spent time with her father earlier in the day in Kirinyaga, together with her siblings.

The family sang one of his favourite gospel hymns as they spent those precious moments together.

Little did she know, it would be the last song they would sing together.

While travelling back to Nairobi, Karua received the devastating news that her beloved father had passed away.

She remembered him as a principled man, a teacher, and a strong believer in the importance of education and good character.

But beyond all that, he was simply a loving father — present, generous, and a steady figure in the lives of his family.

In her farewell message, Karua said:

"Haruka thayu, baba. You will be deeply missed, dearly loved, and forever remembered."

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Martha Karua, her children, grandchildren, siblings, and the entire family during this difficult time.
