MISSING IN BUSIA, ~ "Bussinessman Ahmed Ibrahim Mohamed's family cries foul, accuses DCI of abduction"

"Urgent appeal as Ahmed Ibrahim Mohamed, a Busia businessman, goes missing after alleged abduction by DCI officers on July 28th. Fellow traders demand answers, calling on Minister Kipchumba Murkomen to intervene and ensure Mohamed's safe return."

Businessmen in Busia town, Busia County, are calling on the interior CS Kipchumba Murkomen to intervene and help them locate their son, Ahmed Ibrahim Mohamed, allegedly abducted by individuals claimed to be DCI officers from Busia.

Ahmed Ibrahim Mohamed, a businessman, was abducted on Sunday night of 28th July at Korinda - Busia and was taken from a bus that was travelling from Busia to Nairobi, has since gone missing with his phone unreachable thus sparking widespread concern.

Addressing the press, Abdi Hassan, the brother to Ibrahim say's their efforts to locate Ibrahim have hit a dead end without getting any leads from the police officers.

"The police should produce my brother. They know where they took him, and we've gone to report no answer , we've gone to kakamega, and he's nowhere. No police officer wants to listen and associate with us. No officer is talking about Ibrahim, yet he was taken from a bus by them at korinda Junction."

Led by Busia traders chairman Edwin Omondi, they have condemned the abduction saying Busia County has never witnessed such incidents, and now security agencies should give clear information on his whereabouts within 24hrs

"Ever since Busia County has never had abduction cases, this boy was taken by the DCI , and the police officers know , we want him back alive, we will not stay silent while our boys are being kidnapped".
