Mudavadi breaks silence on Kenyans killed in Rushia -Ukrain war

Mudavadi has responded to criticism from former Makadara MP Reuben Ndolo, stating that the government has rescued 20 Kenyans lured into the Russia-Ukraine war through fake job scams. The government is working to repatriate remains of Kenyans killed and provide support to returnees .
Chief Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, who's also the Minister of Foreign Affairs, has responded to criticism from former Makadara MP Reuben Ndolo,Over his silence treatment on the killings of Kenyans who are participating in Russia - Ukraine war, stating that the government has rescued 20 Kenyans lured into the Russia-Ukraine war through fake job scams. Mudavadi revealed that three Kenyans killed in the conflict were identified as Ombwori Denis Bagaka, Wahome Simon Gititu, and Clinton Nyapara Mogesa, who were promised high-paying jobs abroad but ended up in a penal battalion.
Mudavadi has announced plans to visit Russia to address the issue and prevent further recruitment of Kenyan citizens. He emphasized that the government is working to repatriate remains of Kenyans killed in the conflict and provide psychological support to returnees. So far, 27 Kenyans have been repatriated, and authorities are working to shut down illegal recruitment agencies.
He has also appealed to Kenyans seeking employment abroad to verify job opportunities through relevant ministries to avoid falling pretty to rogue agents.
