TOXIC LYRIKALI DENIES BEEFING WITH ANY KENYAN MUSICIAN
Rapper Toxic Lyrikali has firmly denied any ongoing rivalries or grudges in the Kenyan music scene, insisting he harbors no ill feelings toward fellow musicians.
In an Instagram post shared on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, the artist called out those who are vocal and aggressive online but go silent or back down when faced in real life.
He criticized their lack of courage when it matters, writing: “Face to face hamwezi niambia kitu.”Toxic emphasized that any supposed “beef” with artists such as Tipsy Gee and Fathermoh had already been resolved last year.
He made it clear he holds no current animosity, stating: “Kulingana na mimi majua sina beef na mtu yoyote.”He took a direct shot at Fathermoh, claiming that despite the recent release of a diss track aimed at him, Fathermoh and his group had fled when confronted in person.
The remarks come just one day after Gengetone star Fathermoh dropped a diss track targeting Toxic Lyrikali. In the song, Fathermoh mocked Toxic’s career trajectory and questioned his international presence with lines such as: “Passport imejaa? Unabamba tu watu wa mtaa,” implying his fame is confined mostly to the local scene.
To heighten the jab, the track’s cover art featured an AI-generated image of Toxic as a child, giving the diss a sarcastic and taunting twist. The release has reignited discussions around the months-long tension that has existed between the two artists.
