Tragedy In Mavindini As Crocodile Attack Claims 2 Lives

A tragic accident has shocked the residents of Mavindini ward in Makueni county after a crocodile attacked and killed 2 people.
The incident occured in Kwa Letu location ,Yekanga sub-location in Mavindini ward , makueni county.According to the reports, a 35-year old woman was suddenly attacked by the crocodile on Monday evening as she tried to cross the river. Her screams attracted nearby residents including a 20- year old man who was also attacked while trying to rescue her.
The incident has caused fear among the residents who depend mainly on the river. Leaders have urged residents to remain vigilant as Makueni disaster response officials and the Kenya Red Cross have began a search operation that is currently underway to find the bodies of the 2.
