TSC to hire 20,000 Junior School teachers

The move is intended to strengthen staffing levels in the middle years of the education system as the country continues to implement the competency-based curriculum. Officials confirmed that the online application portal is now open to suitably qualified candidates.

Prospective applicants must meet clear eligibility criteria. They are required to be citizens of the country, hold at least a Diploma in Education and possess a minimum mean grade of C-plus in the national secondary examination. The commission emphasised that only those who satisfy these academic and professional standards will be considered for the posts.

Applications will be accepted exclusively through the official recruitment portal and must be submitted before the stated deadline of midnight on August 31. Late submissions will not be entertained. The commission has urged interested teachers to prepare their documents carefully and to apply early to avoid last-minute technical difficulties.
