TWO PEOPLE NARROWLY ESCAPE DEATH AT RIVER NZOIA.

In a dramatic incident , two individuals narrowly escaped death after a heavily loaded timber lorry veered off the road and plunged into the fast-flowing waters of River Nzoia at Nzoia Bridge along the Turbo-Brigadier road.
Eyewitnesses are reporting that the lorry appeared to lose control while navigating the bridge, possibly due to the heavy load. The driver and his assistant (turnboy) managed to jump out just in time, sustaining only minor injuries. No fatalities have been reported so far.
Recovery operations are currently underway to retrieve the submerged lorry, which is complicating efforts due to the river's strong currents and depth at that section.
