Two Suspects Arrested in Major KCSE 2025 Fake Results Forgery Scam.

Two suspects have been arrested in connection with a scam involving the creation and circulation of fake Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) 2025 result slips on social media platforms.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), working jointly with the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC), apprehended Albert Kerry Nyadianga in Kisumu and David Opiyo (also known as G.O.A.T.), a primary school teacher, in Ongata Rongai.

Opiyo reportedly ran a large online group called "KCSE 2025 Grade Upgrading" with more than 45,200 members and was active in other forums such as KNEC Legit Papers and Upgrading, Group Booster Support, and KNEC Grade Editing, where the suspects allegedly lured desperate candidates and parents with promises to "upgrade" or alter results for a fee.

During the operation, searches of the suspects' mobile devices uncovered images of fabricated KCSE result slips and related examination materials that had been shared widely online.

The DCI stressed that KCSE results are tamper-proof and cannot be changed through any intermediaries or middlemen, warning the public to stay alert against such fraudsters peddling false hopes of grade manipulation.

The two suspects remain in police custody as they await arraignment in court, while authorities continue pursuing other accomplices involved in the scheme.
