Equity Group Reports Record Profit of Sh75.5 Billion in 2025

Equity Group has posted its strongest results ever. The bank made a full-year profit of Sh75.5 billion in 2025.
This is a big jump of 55 percent compared to the previous year. It is now the highest profit ever recorded by any Kenyan bank. Customers, investors, and the market have welcomed the good news, showing that Equity continues to grow stronger even when the economy faces many challenges.
The impressive profit comes from solid performance across all parts of the business. Equity expanded its lending, increased income from fees and commissions, and kept a tight control on costs. The bank also benefited from its wide network in Kenya and other countries in the region. With more people using digital banking services, Equity was able to serve more customers efficiently and safely. This record profit proves that the bank’s strategy of focusing on ordinary Kenyans and growing across East Africa is working very well.
Equity Group has also rewarded its shareholders with a higher dividend. The bank declared a total dividend of Sh5.75 per share for the year. This is 35 percent more than what was paid last year. The increase shows confidence in the future and gives shareholders a good return on their investment. Many investors now see Equity as one of the most reliable and profitable banks in the country. This strong performance will likely boost confidence in the banking sector and encourage more people to trust their savings and businesses with Equity Group.
