Tottenham Sack Manager Thomas Frank After Just 8 Months

Tottenham Hotspur have fired their head coach, Thomas Frank, after less than eight months on the job. The club made the decision after a 2-1 home loss to Newcastle, which left Spurs just five points above the Premier League relegation zone. Frank, who is 52 and from Denmark, took over in June 2025.
The team has been struggling badly in the league. They sit in 16th place and have not won any of their last eight Premier League games—the worst run since 2008. In their last 17 league matches, they only won two and picked up just 12 points. This season overall, they have seven wins, eight draws, and 11 losses so far. They also got knocked out of both domestic cup competitions early.
The club thanked Frank for his hard work and wished him well for the future. They said they gave him time and support to build the team, but the poor results forced them to make a change now. Frank came to Spurs from Brentford, where he did well for seven years, but things did not work out in north London. No new manager has been named yet.
